Bonnie Priever’s novel Cece in Wonder Land refreshingly and honestly delves into the complexities of young adulthood, romance, and self-examination. This novel offers a valuable and comforting perspective on navigating the complexities of life, self-discovery and moving forward spiritually and emotionally.
Suzanne Solig
Cece in Wonder Land is a riveting story of a young woman who embarks on a poignant journey across continents and within herself. From the electric chaos of New York City to the spiritual landscapes of Israel, she is in constant pursuit of something just out of reach—inner peace, lasting love, and a place to call home.
Ronda Spinak
Cece in Wonder Land is a story of true wonder, especially the inspiring ending, which is left unresolved, rather than tied up in a neat bow. Cece's character is sure to resonate with so many people, on so many levels. The book is as fabulous and unique as the main character herself.
Dr Cye Hoffman PhD

This book describes genuinely what it is like to get your heart broken for the first time and bounce back. Like the trees in Sefat in the book, this book will give you life, shade, fruit, and oxygen. Like a trip to Israel, you won't want it to end.
Martha Flumenbaum
A deeply introspective and emotionally honest tale, Cece in Wonder Land is for anyone who's ever felt like they were searching for something and everyone who still is.
Phyllis Rothman
Cece in Wonder Land is an honest, personal, and intimate story that invites the reader into the experience of a neurodivergent mind seeking a place to belong in an unforgiving world. Written with courage, clarity, and hope.

Excerpt from Cece in Wonder Land
Cece started one-on-one art therapy the following week. A table was set up, replete with acrylic paints, brushes, markers, butcher paper, glitter, and glue. The therapist introduced herself. "Welcome, I'm Donna. Rather than words, you'll use art form to express emotions. Let's get started by you showing me, in pictures, your 'happy place.'"
Easy one. Cece easily transported herself to the beaches of Hawaii, where she glittered a pastel sunset of orange, coral, and yellow, overlooking an ocean of aquamarine. The sky alit with glorious shades of a Hawaiian sunset for all to behold. She drew the waves crashing against a bed of rocks, covering the red seaweed hiding beneath. She closed her eyes, inhaled the salty smell of the ocean into her nostrils.
"This is my happy place," she said to Donna, a relaxed smile appearing.
